Thanks for stopping by! We’re a friendly bunch and love our community — but please note that we do not provide technical support for embroidery machines, computers, or software.

Before purchasing, you must know how to:
• Download files
• Unzip files
• Transfer files from your computer or software to your machine

If you’re unsure about any of the above, please reach out to your machine dealer or consult online tutorials before purchasing.

For technical help, Facebook groups, YouTube, and Google are excellent resources.


Account & Shopping

How do I create an account?
Click HERE to create an account.

Do I have to have an account to shop?
Yes. You must have an activated account to purchase.
After creating an account, you’ll receive an activation email — this step is required.
⚠️ Activation emails often land in spam or promotions, so please check those folders.

Does your site warn me if I already purchased a file?
Yes! Our site displays a “You’ve already purchased this” notice. This article explains how this feature works. READ ME.


Coupons, Sales & Deals

The coupon code isn’t working — now what?
We run weekly design releases most Fridays.
The Deal of the Week is shown in the website header and applies automatically.

If a discount isn’t showing:
• The item in your cart likely isn’t part of the promotion
• Most discounts are automatic — no code needed

Deals end Sunday at 11:59 PM Eastern.


Downloads & Files

How do I get my files?
Files are available for immediate download after purchase and are:
• Downloadable from checkout
• Sent via email from Shopify
• Stored in your account order history

I can’t download my file — what now?
If checkout download fails, try:
• Your order history
• The email sent after purchase

Incomplete downloads on a PC are usually a computer/browser issue.
We recommend clearing your cache and restarting your computer.

What file formats do you include?
DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP, VP3, XXX

How long will my files be available?
Files are stored in your account for convenience, but ongoing or unlimited access is not guaranteed.
You are responsible for downloading and backing up your files after purchase.


Updates & Duplicate Purchases

How will I know if a file is updated?
If a file is updated, our system automatically sends an email.
You never need to re-purchase a file to receive an update.

What if I accidentally purchase a file twice?

If you purchase the same file twice, please contact us within 48 hours of the duplicate purchase and within 30 days of the original purchase.

Eligible requests may receive store credit for a file of similar value.

Requests made outside these time limits, for previously downloaded files, or for purchases made in prior months or years are not eligible for refunds or credits.


Usage & Licensing

Can I sell items made with your files?
Yes! Our files may be used for small handmade business sales.
Please review our Terms of Use for full details and restrictions.

Can I use your photos to promote my items?
No. All photos on this site — including tester photos — are copyrighted and owned by Parker on the Porch.
Using them may cause brand confusion and misrepresent your work.

Do your files include videos or tutorials?
Each listing clearly states what’s included.
Videos are not guaranteed unless specifically noted.

Files may include:
• PDF tutorials
• General tutorials
• Color layer charts
• Video-only instructions

How do I change my email address?
Send us a message via the contact form with:
• Your current email
• The new email you’d like to use

Can I merge accounts?
Sometimes, yes.
Email us with both account email addresses and we’ll let you know if merging is possible.


Testing, Hoops & Sizing

How are your files tested?
All designs are tested in multiple sizes and formats on:
Brother, Babylock, Janome, Melco, Bernina & select Industrial Machines

Which hoop sizes do you design for?
Files are sized to fit Brother hoop dimensions.
Exact measurements are listed in each product description.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compatibility with their machine.
We do not resize files or adjust designs after purchase.
